Well, there are numerous homemade recipes that you can use to keep you lips healthy and pulpy in all seasons but after thorough research and personal use, I have come across two of the most effective recipes that can be used anytime during the year, especially when winter season comes along and it demands extra care of your lips, then you can easily follow and use these two recipes and believe me, you will see remarkable results are more better and cost effective then ready made lip glosses available in the market.
Essential Oil Lip Gloss Recipe:
So, how do you make natural lip gloss? A very common question but you will not find many useful answer to it but Today you will get to know my own homemade lip gloss recipe which can easily be made using essential oil along with Vaseline, and you can incorporate essential oil of your choice to it. As an experienced homemade lip gloss maker, my own idea is to use at least one essential oil, but it depends upon you guys and how comfortable you are using essential oils, so this is not a hard and fast rule, you can also use a combination of essential oils of your own choice, examples can include a combination of orange and cinnamon.
I have personally added these two essential oils orange and cinnamon and when applied at night you can immediately start seeing the results within few days time.

DIY Peppermint Lip Gloss Recipe:
To answer my friend question, I must start with the advantages Peppermint essential oil has, well there are many and I can share few of them right now, it contains anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties alongside have a very refreshing aroma. One thing you should remember, never ever add too much peppermint essential oil in your recipes because excessive use of this oil can sometime cause irritation which can also sting a little bit..
Ingredients:
Castor Oil: 2Tbsp
Vaseline: 1Tbsp
Glycerin: 1Tbsp
Vitamin E: 3
Peppermint Essential oil: 3drops
Pigmentation
Lip gloss tubes
Syringe/dropper
Directions:
- Melt Vaseline on a double boiler.
- In next step you have to take a bowl, empty Vitamin E capsule in it, then mix some castor oil and glycerin, then mix the mixture nicely.
- Add pigmentation and peppermint essential oil, stir and inject in lip gloss tubes using a syringe. I prefer using a syringe because it is less messy and easy to handle.
- Now you have completed all the steps, you have to give at least 5 to 7 minutes to your lip glass tube to cool down and do not forget to keep it in upright position. Afterwards, you should seal it properly.
