Best Kool Aid Lip Gloss Recipes {Easy}

Kool Aid lip gloss tends to leave a tint or stain on lips. The edible version of Kool-Aid lip gloss recipe is absolutely delicious to lick. My favorite flavors are orange and strawberry. Strawberry gives a beautiful pink stain on lips whereas I use edible colors and glitter with orange. You can also try a combination of different flavors like raspberry and strawberry. The shelf life of Kool-Aid lip gloss or lip balms is not very long. It is best to not keep it in hot and humid environment, keep it refrigerated and take it out a few minutes before using.  

Like always, I will be sharing two versions of Kool-Aid lip gloss recipes but there is not much big difference with regards to ingredients, one includes Vaseline and the other is without Vaseline. I have used castor oil, but you can opt for coconut oil or jojoba oil or whatever is your preference. I prefer castor oil for liquid lip gloss base because it gives the end product that thick sticky consistency that we are looking for in a lip gloss. 

Kool-Aid Lip Gloss Recipe with Vaseline

The thing about Kool-Aid lip balms and lip gloss is that it leaves a grainy texture if not incorporated well. So the stirring up Kool-Aid into the lip gloss base requires patience, don’t give up on your mixture so quickly if it is all runny and grainy and nothing like a lip gloss, you have to give it some time before the mixture comes in real state.

Preparation Time:

The exact amount of time required to make this homemade lip gloss can be around 15 to 20 Minutes only.

Ingredients:

Kool-Aid       1Tbsp

Vaseline 1Tbsp

Castor oil 1 ½ Tbsp

Double boiler

Syringe

Container

Directions:

1. Melt Vaseline in a double boiler.
2. Stir in castor oil and Kool-Aid and try to mix them properly so that they become mix well.
3. Keep stirring.
4. Again Keep stirring for a good 5 to 7 minutes.
5. Using a syringe inject the Kool-Aid lip gloss into lip gloss tubes

Kool-Aid Lip Gloss without Vaseline

Although I prefer the one with Vaseline, if you are looking for an all edible lip gloss recipe with Kool-Aid, then this is the one for you. 

Ingredients:

Castor Oil           1Tbsp

Glycerin              1tsp

Cocoa Butter     ½ Tbsp

Kool-Aid             1 ½ Tbsp

Directions:

1. In a double boiler melt cocoa butter, after it is melted, turn off the flame and then add castor oil plus glycerin. Mix well.
2. Add Kool-Aid and keep stirring until the powdery stuff is well incorporated into the oil. This might take a while.
3. Using a syringe, inject the Kool-Aid lip gloss into lip gloss tubes. 

How do you Kool-Aid Stain your Lips?

To get a Kool-Aid lip stain to apply the Kool-Aid lip gloss or lip balm on your lips generously and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Wipe off the gloss with a tissue paper and voila! You have stained lips in color of your choice. 

How to make Kool Aid Lip Gloss with Coconut Oil Recipe

Kool Aid Lip gloss are very popular as they not only giver brightening colors to your lip glossed but when applied they give an enchanted look. Today I will be sharing the most asked kool aid lip gloss with coconut oil recipe, it is easy and fun to make and works great for your lips.

Preparation Time: 5 Minutes

Ingredients:

Coconut Oil 2 Tablespoon and 1 Teaspoon

Kool Aid ½ or one packet of

Sugar 1 Tablespoon

Water 2 to 3 Drops

Lip Gloss Container

Dropper

Directions:

Take a microwave safe container and pour one tablespoon of coconut oil in it and heat it for at least 10 to 15 seconds.

Take another bowl and put Kool Aid Powder and Sugar in it, blend them with the help of few drops of water, mix them nicely.

Now put 2 tablespoon of coconut oil in this mixture and mix them nicely, until you see all the mixture blend nicely with each other.

Now start adding few drops of liquid coconut oil in this mixture and blend them till the mixture is thin enough so that it can be easily poured in the dropper.

Now fill your lip gloss container with your own homemade lip gloss from dropper and let it cool down at room temperature or place it in refrigerator.
